Hi, I'm Marie!
Passionate about health, fitness, and nutrition.
I'm a BCRPA certified Personal Trainer, Weight Trainer, Aquatic and Group Fitness leader, have Third Age, Osteo Fit, and Pre and Post natal training.
I came to Canada from Liberec, Czech Republic in 1998. There I studied at the Technical University, earning my degree in Telecommunication and Primary School Education. I was a dancer and choreographer for Country Rhythm in Liberec. I also completed training in rhythmical gymnastic level II and III.
Moving to Prague I attained certification from ACI as a Professional Aerobic Teacher and competed in the Sports Aerobic Championship of the Czech Republic.
Over the past 20 years I have developed programs for every age group and level, including kids, youth, seniors and recreational athletes. Currently I teach in various fitness and community centres in Vancouver BC. Using functional movement training with emphasis on core strength, stability and overall muscle balance.
I'm focused on becoming the most versatile and informed trainer to accommodate our population and to motivate myself and others. Propelled by passion to become the best I can, I keep up to date by attending various fitness conferences and educational workshops throughout the world.
I can train you in your gym, outdoors, or in the privacy of your own home.

PERSONAL ASSESSMENT
We'll discuss your health history, food preferences, your unique lifestyle needs, including your schedule, values and beliefs regarding food and healthy living. We'll evaluate your baseline fitness, including flexibility, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal fitness, as well as your challenges and goals to create the healthy life you desire.
CUSTOMIZED PLAN
Together in collaboration we'll create your customized exercise and nutrition plan. Because people are diverse, I don't prescribe or endorse any particular diet or fitness routine; we all have different body types, budgets, physical capability, time availability, dietary exclusions ... you get the picture! Vegans can stay vegan. Paleo's can stay Paleo. I'll work with you every step of the way to develop your personal meal or exercise plans and provide you with structure and guidance to help you reach your goals.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Knowledge and information are great, but not enough. You need to do! I'll provide the accountability, direction, and support you need to stay consistent, no matter what life throws at you. We're in this together.
Follow-up consultations will provide you with valuable time to “check-in”. We'll discuss your progress and make any adjustments, answer questions and set new goals if needed. These sessions are all about you getting the guidance and motivation you need to succeed and reach outstanding results.
